Buttoned beds are available in every standard UK size: Single 3ft, Small Double 4ft, Double 4ft6, King 5ft and Super King 6ft. A buttoned headboard has real presence, so a King or Super King makes the most of the detailing — though the look works just as well in a guest Single. Before you commit, check the width of the bed against your bedroom — the sizes step from Single 3ft up to Super King 6ft — and leave clear space around the frame for walking past and opening any storage.
