Navy reads as calm, considered and quietly expensive. It carries a coastal cool in lighter rooms and a cosy, jewel-box richness in the evening, which is a rare combination. Because it sits on the cooler side of the spectrum, navy pairs beautifully with whites, creams, warm woods and brass — and it's a natural partner for green and mustard if you like a bit more colour. A navy bed is also more forgiving than black, softening shadows rather than amplifying them. Storage that stays out of sight

Most of these beds can earn their place as well as look good. Ottoman storage beds lift from the foot end on a gas-lift mechanism, opening up the whole area under the mattress for bedding and seasonal storage. Divan beds, meanwhile, offer optional 2-drawer, 4-drawer and footend-drawer configurations. The storage sits within the base, so the navy headboard remains the centrepiece.

Headboards to frame the bed

The headboard defines how a navy bed reads. Across the range you'll find winged and wingback styles, buttoned and diamond-buttoned detailing, chesterfield and stud-trimmed designs, and cleaner panel and signature headboards. Heights run to 48", a floor-standing 54", and a tall 60", letting you decide how much of the wall the bed occupies. A navy wingback or diamond-buttoned headboard makes a particularly strong focal point.
